Seems often enough we get the same questions about games not working.

ex. Chrono Cross: Use 'Fake GPU Busy States' + 'Odd / Even Bit Hack'

There's other games / programs that need 'Fake GPU Busy States' or you'll get black screens. Same goes with 'Works with interpreter only'.

Should we have some 'master' PCSX list that tells users what to do about their favorite games? And place dev notes about problems with PCSX so we can keep track of stuff?

ex list.  (will be maintained on an 'ad hoc' basis; please list them in this thread)

(Build = SVN 60064)

Chrono Cross: Use 'Fake GPU Busy States' + 'Odd / Even Bit Hack'

Dukes of Hazzard: Need 'Fake GPU Busy States'   (from ePSXe 1.7.0)

Formula One 2001: Use interpreter mode

GameShark / Action Replay CDX 3.X: Use interpreter mode

GameShark / Action Replay Lite: Need 'Fake GPU Busy States'

Hot Wheels Turbo Racing: Need 'Fake GPU Busy States'   (from ePSXe 1.7.0)

PS-X Change v2: Don't use 'Fake GPU Busy States'

Vib Ribbon: Use iso only, gameplay not fully correct

PAL Libcrypt games: use sapu cdr (windows / linux) or ISO (ccd/img/sub - mdf/mds)

Final Fantasy 4 = compile own build, use gpu.c from 59545

Vampire Hunter D = compile own build, use gpu.c from 59545

good idea... although it might take too much time for a complete list.

(I hope I can make some sort of sticky threads here... however codeplex does not have such an option :( )

I Second this idea! Maybe PCSX-R should change to a different forum?

I third this idea! I think that if so much work goes into making these things at all, there should be a good amount of work put into making it not-so-much-a-crazy-labyrinth-of-confusion to figure out how to use them. It has personally taking me quite a while to figure out the Chrono Cross bug, and only just found it out when I found this thread. So yeah, probably very useful. Also, YAAYYY I can play Chrono Cross now, thank you!

I have a wide variety of old playstation disks lying around, I could test the fixes for you if you'd like ^^ :)
