Fear Effect With XBox 360 Controller - Bug Or Lack Of Support?

Dec 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM
I compiled pcsxr in Slackware 14.1 x86_64 and I tried using the xpad driver and xboxdrv and both results are the same.

I also tried an older xbox360 controller and a newer mdoel, both with the same results.

The xbox controllers do show up under the control pad settings and I can adjust it.

The game Fear Effect uses the L1/L2 & R1/R2 for crouching and rolling and running, when I start using the crouch or roll the character gets stuck in this position and will constantly stay crouched or roll when trying to use the d-pad forward, the character will no longer just walk.

Is this a bug, or the xbox360 controller isn't supported in pcsxr?

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or I need to buy a Sony PS3 controller?

thank you

Ok it appears pcsxr doesn't support the xbox360 controllers.

I have a Nyko Core Controller working good now... :)

Hello PSXNix,

You could have probably used antimicro. Just set the keys to match the keyboard.
