Ridge Racer Type 4 - Graphics Issue.

I am running PCSX-Reloaded 1.9.95 (88372M) on a modern Mac with OS 10.8. When I use the Peops OpenGL GPU Plugin GPU Plugin 1.1.78 I find that when I start a the first race in the Grand Prix I see that the ground and some of the buildings do not render - they appear as completely blank textures. If I use the older Plugin version 1.1.17, I do not see this issue. Can anyone else confirm this issue or offer solution?

There are actually two video plug-ins: the XGL plug-in uses OpenGL to render the 3D meshes and other things. SoftGL actually renders the image software-side then pushes the buffer to OpenGL. The XGL plug-in will make better-looking 3D games which can scale up, but it has issues in general, as well as the OS X port specifically. The SoftGL plug-in is more stable, but 3D games don't look good when scaled up.

The XGL plug-in renders Jet Moto 3 with blank textures as well.

This is one of the (many) known issues of the XGL plug-in on OS X.
