Resident Evil Director's Cut issue

Jan 7, 2011 at 3:10 PM

Hi, I'm using pcsx-r on a Linux box and when I try to play the mentioned game it doesn't work past the first warning screen.

The odd thing is that it works perfectly with pcsx-df and as pcsx-r is based on it, I suspected that it should work as good as with pcsx-df.

Thanks for all.

tried latest win32 svn with re-dc-dual shock (slus-00747). game boots past warning screen to capcom movie. game plays.

Ok. I compiled last svn on my Linux box and now the same version of RE-DC works great.

Now I would like to play a little with SDL 1.3 and the haptic functions to make the dual-shock works :-) , but I have no idea how the game sends messages about it (the vibration part) to the console (emulator) to process the message.

Anyway, thanks for all and great work.

vibration stuff is added to dfinput in r61950 (only visual vibration for now until SDL 1.3 is released & adopted by most of the distros).

feel free to ask here if you have any problems ;)
